Legends Cricket League is one of the new leagues started in cricket. It is a tournament played by players who took retirement from all forms of cricket. Many legends are playing this tournament, and many are eager to play. A player will always be eager to play cricket even after he takes retirement. Hence, such platforms help them to relive their moments.

1. William Porterfield  

William Porterfield is one of the latest players to take retirement from international cricket. He represented long and well for the Irish Cricket team. He was born in Donemana, Northern Ireland, and is currently age thirty-nine. He was named the skipper for the Irish team, and the team did achieve new heights in his tenure. He was a top-order batsman for his team. He has more than 30 fours in the Legend’s Cricket League tournament.

2. Hamilton Masakadza   

Hamilton Masakada is the second player in the discussion. He made his name early on the international stage. He is one of the youngest players to score test century on debut. Apart from his cricketing career, he also completed his education side by side. He was like fine red wine as he did well in his career in the later stages. Initially, he played with a slower strike rate in the limited formats. He has 30 fours in this tournament. His last participation in the ICC tournament was in 2015.

3. Mohammad Kaif   

Mohammad Kaif is the third player. He has played for the Indian cricket team during 2000-2010s period. He was used by the team and board as the lower-order batsman. He often finished innings in some matches. Apart from his batting skills, he had good command over fielding techniques. His special fielding efforts include dive. Before playing international games, he had very good domestic games. Kaif represented Delhi in the domestic stages. He has 25 fours in this tournament.

4. Kevin O Brien   

Kevin is the fourth player in the discussion. The Irish cricket board found an all-rounder in him. He has represented Ireland for a long fifteen years. He was a player of limited-over cricket. He has played more than a hundred matches in one-day and T20 internationals.  He has played a limited three matches in test cricket. 5. Yashpal Singh   

Indian cricketer Yashpal Singh was born in Delhi. He did not participate in the Indian cricket team in his cricketing career. Yashpal used to represent the Indian state of Sikkim in local competitions. He was well-known at the domestic level and a capable batter. In the first-class games, Singh averaged over 60. In his debut game, he is renowned for hitting two half-centuries in straight innings. Yashpal did participate in the Indian Premier League. He has hit eighteen fours.

6. Ross Taylor  

Ross Taylor is the next player in our discussion. He has been one of the best batsmen for the Kiwis. Ross played at the number four position for his team. Apart from international cricket, he made appearances in the leagues worldwide. If we talk about his performance now, then he has been in good touch in the Legends Cricket League. He maintained his position and performance in the new team. It was an unknown fact that he had sight issues and he played with this disability. He had hit seventeen fours.

7. Solomon Mire   

Solomon Mire is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He fixed his position in his team as a lower-order batsman. He made his international appearance on the tour of Bangladesh. It was due to his good performances in the domestic season of 2013-14 which made him available. Mire was one of the squad members of the 2015 World Cup team. His one of the remembered innings came against Sri Lanka on their home soil where Zimbabwe registered the first victory on their home soil. He has hit seventeen fours.

8. Yusuf Pathan   

The Pathan Brothers is a well-known name in the Indian cricket world. Yusuf is the elder of the two. Both the brothers are an all-rounder. Yusuf is a batting all-rounder. In the need of the situation, he also did off-spin bowling, and hence team used him as extra extra-dimensional player. He has hit 15 fours. In the Legend’s League tournament, he continued to play like he liked to do. Yusuf in his prime time used to hit long sixes all over the park.

9. Shane Watson   

Shane is the Australian player on the list. Being an all-rounder was always demanded by the selection committee. He knows the technique to rotate the strike in the middle overs and stitch the partnership. In the last phase of his career, he also played as an opener in league cricket. He did well as he scored numerous fifties and even hundreds in that position. He has hit 15 fours.

10. Tillakaratne Dilshan   

Dilshan is the Sri Lankan player and the last participant. He was the opener for his team. He was a consistent and reliable player. Dilshan has scored a lot in his career and it is evident as he features in the list of highest run scorers. Later he played all three formats for the Sri Lanka Cricket team. He even took part in many leagues even after retirement. One of them was the Indian Premier League. He even captained the national side for some matches too. He has played more than 100 matches in both test and one-day formats. He has hit 14 fours.
