The Namibian national playing cricket squad, also known as the Eagles, is the men's squad that presents the nation on foreign grounds. The team regulated by the Namibian Association, which later became an associate member of the ICC in 1993. Later in the ICC, the Namibian team soon became a few of the leading ICC associate members. The team came second in the 2002 ICC league, hence qualified for the 2004 Cricket World league in South Africa. Namibian squad made its opening in the One Day International (ODI) in the league, but it wasn't able to win the game. From 2005, the team has represented in the entire ICC Inter-continental league, finishing third in 2008-09. The team also made it to the top of the World Cricket tournament (WCT), represented thrice in the WC Tournament, and finished fourth the 2013 ICC World Twenty-20 Qualifying match. 1. Merwe
Merwe made his first international opening in the team opposite Ireland in October 2011 in the 2011-2014 ICC Inter-continental tournament, at an early age of 17. He has now become the youngest cricketer in the squad's history. In April 2019, Merwe was chosen as the leader of the national squad in the 2019 ICC World Cricket tournament Division three league.

He was born on 30th April 1992. He is a Namibian player. In December 2016, Stephan got the Player of the Year trophy at the yearly cricket Namibian Awards ceremony and function. In September 2018, Stephan was chosen in the national squad to participate in the 2019 Africa T-20 Cup.

In October 2021, J.J was chosen as the vice-leader of the Namibia's 2021 ICC Men's T-20 World Cup tournament team. In October 2021, J.J was also selected as the captain of the Namibian national squad in the 2021 Namibian Tri-Nation league when Erasmus was absent due to an injury.
5. Niko Davin
He was born on 20th December 1997. He is a Namibian player. Niko made his debut presence in List B on 12th October 2016 in the CSA Provincial One-Day tackle. In February 2016, Niko was chosen for the national squad to play in the 2017 Cricket World tournament.
6. Jean-Pierre Kotze
He was born on 24th April 1994. He is an initial Namibian player. In March 2018, Kotze was choosed in the national squad to tackle the 2019 ICC World Cricket tournament Division three league.
7. David Wiese
He was born in South African but is a Namibian player. He is presently participating for the country on international grounds. David also played well and qualified to participate internationally in Namibia as his father was also born in the same region.
8. Zane Green
He was born on 12th October 1996. He is a Namibian player who made his opening in the Namibian international cricket squad in October 2013, at the young age of 17. Zane is also known for his bowling, he's a right-handed wicket-getter.
9. Karl Birkenstock
He was born on 28th March 1996. He is a Namibian player. Karl made his debut presence in the second-class game opposite Western Province in the 2017-18 Sunfoil 4-Day Cup on 7th October 2016.
