Cricket, just like other sports, is dominated by men. Their names have always been at the forefront because it is assumed that men are more muscular and powerful and therefore fit to play sports. However, with the passage of time, many changes have been brought in the sports field to ensure equal representation of both men and women. Hence, the women’s IPL was introduced this year to ensure they also get fair opportunities. In the first place is the current captain of the Australian cricket women’s team. She was a part of the Delhi Capitals and scored 345 runs in nine matches with a strike rate of 140.

2. Natallie Sciver

Next, we have an English all-rounder, Natallie Sciver, who was the first English woman bowler to take a hat-trick in a women T20 match. In the IPL, she has scored a total of 332 runs in 10 matches while playing for MI.

3. Tahila McGrath

In the third place is this Aussie woman cricketer. She played for UP in the women’s IPL and scored 302 runs in nine matches with a strike rate of 159.

4. Harmanpreet Kaur

The next person on this list is the current captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. She is a renowned all-rounder and even received the Arjuna Award in 2017. In the IPL, she has scored 281 runs in ten matches while playing for MI.

5. Hayley Matthews

On the fifth spot is Caribbean all-rounder Hayley Matthews, who made her international debut in 2014. In the IPL, she has played for MI and hit 271 runs in ten matches.

6. Sophie Devine

Moving on to this Kiwi all-rounder who is known for batting without wearing a helmet. She has scored 266 runs in eight matches with a strike rate of 172 while playing for RCB.

7. Alyssa Healy

Next on the list is this Aussie cricketer, who is also the wife of the famous Australian bowler Mitchell Starc. She, while playing for UP in the IPL, scored 253 runs.

8. Ellyse Perry

On the eighth position is the Australian all-rounder, Ellyse Perry. She has represented Australia in cricket as well as soccer and is the first Aussie to appear in the ICC and FIFA World Cups. Talking about the IPL, she has scored a total of 253 runs in eight matches for RCB.

9. Shafali Verma

The second-last person on this list is Indian batter Shafali Verma. She is the youngest Indian cricketer to play for India in all three formats. In the IPL, she has hit 252 runs at a strike rate of 185 for DC.

10. Grace Harris

The last person on this list is another Aussie all-rounder, Grace Harris, who scored 230 runs in the IPL while playing for UP. She played with a strike rate of 165.
