Bowling Economy is one of three measures to determine the efficiency of bowlers. The other two are bowling average and bowling strike-rate. Bowling economy is the  average runs that a bowler gives/allows in every over that he bowls. The lesser the economy rate, the better the bowlers performance.

Let us look at the top ten bowlers in Multan Sultans who have the best bowling economy in PSL.

1. Khushdil Shah 

Khushdil Shah is a slow left-arm orthodox Pakistani bowler who made his debut for Multan Sultan in 2020 and is currently associated with the same team. He played 34 games and has taken 18 wickets with an average of 15.83 and an economy of 6.89.

2. Mohammad Irfan 

Mohammad Irfan is a left-arm fast bowler who played from 2018 to 2020 for Multan Sultan. He has an average of 34.15 in 27 games taking 19 wickets with an economy of 6.90.

3. Mohammad Imran Tahir 

Mohammad Imran Tahir is an African leg break googly bowler who started playing with Multan Sultan in 2018 and is currently associated with the same team. He has played 39 games with the team and has taken 53 wickets with an average of 17.83 and an economy of 6.94.

4. Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi 

Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a leg break googly allrounder. He played his first game for Multan Sultan in 2019 and played till 2021. Afridi took 19 wickets in 21 games with an average of 25.57 and an economy of 7.63.

7. David Jonathan Willey

David Jonathan Willey is a left-arm fast-medium English bowling allrounder. He played with Multan Sultan in the year 2022 and played eight games and took 13 wickets in eight innings with an average of 16.00 and an economy of 8.15.

8. Mohammad Ilyas 

Mohammad Ilyas is a Pakistani right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Multan Sultan from 2019 to 2020. He played 17 games and has taken 17 wickets with an average of 21.35 and an economy of 8.31.

9. Mohammad Junaid Khan

Mohammad Junaid Khan is a Pakistani left-arm fast bowler. He started playing for Multan Sultan in 2018 and played till 2020. Khan played 18 games for the team and took 18 wickets with an average of 27.83 and an economy of 8.35.
