Multan Sultans is a Pakistani proficient T20 franchise cricket team and represents the city of Multan in southern Pakistan in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). PSL was founded on 9 September 2015. It began with five teams. Later, the Multan Sultans team was brought in 2017 as a further sixth team addition to PSL. The home ground for the team is Multan Cricket Stadium. Multan Sultans has won 1 PSL title to date in 2021.

In order to win matches, it becomes important for the teams to set a high defending score for their opponent teams. We have witnessed instances where a high score made by a team is hardly defended by the opponent team and thus, results in the victory of the former team. Multan Sultans have set records for some of the highest-scoring matches in PSL to date. Here is a list of the top ten highest totals by Multan Sultans in PSL.

1. Multan Sultans made a total of 243 runs on 18 February 2022. This marks their highest total in PSL to date. Their run rate in the match was 12.25, the opposition team was the Gladiators, and the match was played on the ground of Lahore. Mohammad Rizwan made the highest score, 83 runs from Multan Sultans.

2. On 5 February 2022, in a match against the Zalmi, the Multan Sultans made their second-highest total in PSL. They made 222 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. The team's run rate was 11.1, and Karachi was the stadium in which the match was played. Mohammad Rizwan was the player of the match and Tim David made 51* runs in the match.

3. The third match on our list of the top ten highest total in PSL by Multan Sultans is the match played on 1 February 2022. The team defeated Islamabad United after scoring 217 runs. They lost by five wickets, and their run rate remained at 10.85. The match was played on the Karachi ground. RR Rossouw made 67* runs and registered his team’s win by 20 runs.

4. Multan Sultans made their fourth-highest total in PSL on 29 January 2022. They made 209 runs after losing five wickets, and their run rate was 10.62. They played 19.4 overs against the Qalandars on the ground of Karachi. Shan Masood added a huge total of 83 individual scores to his team’s total and won the match by five wickets.

5. Multan Sultan's fifth-highest total stands at 206 runs. In a match against the Zalmi, the team made this score in 20 overs. Their run rate was 10.3, and they played on the ground of Abu Dhabi. The match was played on 24 January 2021 and Sohaib Maqsood was the player of the match.

6. The sixth-highest total by Multan Sultans came in a match against the Qalandars. They made 200 runs at a loss of 6 wickets. The run rate in the game was 10.0, and they played on the ground of Sharjah. The match was played on 22 February 2019. Though they lost the match, James Vince from Multan Sultans made a high score of 84.

9. The Multan Sultans made their ninth-highest total in PSL on 23 February 2021. They made 193 runs in a 20-over match. They lost four wickets, and their run rate remained at 9.65. The Peshawar Zalmi was their opposition team, and the ground was Karachi. James Vince hit the highest run from the team.

10. The last match on our list is the match against the Karachi Kings. They made 186 runs at a loss of six wickets on 28 February 2020. Their run rate in the match was 9.3, and the match was played on Multan ground. Shan Masood made the highest run from the Multan Sultans team.
