ICC T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled in Australia. England’s Cricket team won the last season of this world cup edition. Jos lead the team to finals and then to winning the cup. England’s team was placed in group A where teams like Australia, and West Indies played. There was one washout match during their league stage.

1. Dasun Shanaka

The first player in our discussion is Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka. He has been appointed as the caption of the national side in the limited over format. He primarily plays as a batting all-rounder in the team. His potential to captain the team made him a regular player for the Sri Lankan cricket team. He did well as Sri Lanka won the last edition of the Asia Cup. It ended the drought of Sri Lanka not winning any ICC trophy after the 2014 t20 world cup.

2. Mark Adair 

Mark Adair is our next player for discussion. He belongs to the Ireland Cricket team. Mark is a young player and debuted in all three formats. He took part in the two t20 World Cups. Mark was also in the test squad for the Bangladesh series. As a player, he is primarily an all-rounder.

3. Liam Livingstone 

Liam Livingstone is an English batter. He plays limited-over games for the England cricket team. Liam plays in the middle order or down the order and usually finishes the game. His primary role sometimes is used to bat and score quickly. Later in his career, we saw him bowling some over part-time. Hence, it adds a new dimension to the team and helps team combinations. He is the number four batter in the batting order when t20 playing eleven comes to bat.

4. Suryakumar Yadav 

Suryakumar Yadav is the current discussion. He attained the rank one while playing in the tournament. Surya is in the top for a long time now. He played some great knocks and also scored fifties. His role was to fire up the scoring rate. Due to his unorthodox batting style, it was difficult for bowlers to pick him. He usually bats at four positions in the batting order. He failed in the semi-final stage and could not support Virat to make a big score to defend.

5. Fin Allen 

Fin Allen is a new talent in the New Zealand cricket team. He plays as a top-order right-handed batsman. Fin debuted for the Kiwis cricket team in 2021. He has played only limited-overs games, which include eight one-day matches and 25 t20 internationals. He has scored a century in the t20 format itself. Lately, he started participating in different cricketing leagues.

6. Kagiso Rabada 

Kagiso Rabada is a pace bowler from the South African cricket team. He is one of the prime attacking bowlers of the Proteas. He plays all formats of the game. He is tall and often uses his bounce and pace to create difficulties for the facing the deliveries. In test matches, he is the prime attacking bowler. Recently, he suffered an injury, and was out of action for some months and returned to the squad a few days back.

7. Sam Curran 

Sam Curran is the next player who plays limited-over cricket for the England Cricket team. It is interesting to know that he is an all-rounder for his nation, but he has developed his bowling skills to the extent that he is the second-leading wicket-taker. Sam primarily bats at the lower middle order and often finishes the game with his bat. With his satisfactory performance over limited over the side, he got selected for the test side. He is a young player and has a bright future ahead.

8. Mohammad Wasim 

Mohammad Wasim is a new talented cricketer from Pakistan. He is merely 21 and has represented Men National side of his nation. He has even played in 19 tournaments for Pakistan. Wasim has played more than 25 t20 internationals for his country. He is an all-rounder, and in the t20 format, an all-rounder creates a new dimension in the playing eleven. Hence, he has a bright future ahead.

9. Kane Williamson 

Kane Williamson is the ex-skipper of the Kiwi's cricket side. In the 2022 world cup, he did lead his side, but after the tournament, he gave up his captaincy. Under his tenure, the team did well and reached knockouts almost in every ICC championship. He also helped his team to win the world test championship title in the inaugural season. He is a top-order batsman and versatile in changing the mode of his batting under the match and situation.

10. Ben Stokes 

Ben Stokes is one of the most essential all-rounder England has ever produced. He started his career on international stages as a mediocre player but later became one of the most demanding players in every league. Ben used to bat well from the beginning, but later, Ben developed his bowling skills to increase his accuracy. In 2016 his loose bowls cost England the world cup, but later in 2021, they lifted the t20 world cup, and he did well in all three dimensions.
