10. 48 (27) v/s Mumbai Indians

In the first match of the IPL 2021, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians clashed in Chennai. Here, AB De Villiers' knock gave RCB hope of winning. Moreover, RCB won the toss and chose to field first, limiting MI to only 159 runs. RCB got off to a slow start, and by the 15th over, the required run-rate had risen to 10.80. 9. 47* (17) v/s Deccan Chargers

In the IPL 2012, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a thrilling encounter with Deccan Chargers at the famous Chinnaswamy Stadium. Batting first, Deccan Chargers set a target of 182 runs. In response, RCB had a promising start; soon, wickets started falling, and by the end of the 17th over, RCB needed 39 runs. Enter ABD. He smashed 23 runs in the 18th over and 15 in the 19th! De Villiers played a match-winning knock of 47* from 17 balls.

8. 82* (44) v/s Kings XI Punjab

Royal Challengers Bangalore encountered Kings XI Punjab in the 42nd match of the IPL 2019. RCB batted first and set the target of 203, thanks to AB De Villiers' brilliant knock of 82* from 44 balls with a strike rate of 186! His knock included three fours and seven sixes! RCB won the match by 17 runs, and ABD was also announced as the 'Player of the Match.'

7. 89* (41) v/s Sunrisers Hyderabad

In IPL 2014, in a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bangalore, batting first, SRH could manage to give RCB a target of 156. During RCB's chase, it was a 'one-man' show when the top order collapsed, and ABD walked in at number 5 and smashed an unbeaten 89-run knock which is more than half runs of the target. Courtesy of his innings, RCB won the match by four wickets and one ball remaining.

6. 73* (33) v/s Kolkata Knight Riders

In the 28th match of the IPL 2020, Royal Challenger Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders clashed. RCB batted first and made a fantastic 194/2. AB De Villiers came at number 4 and made an astonishing 73* off just 33 balls! He had an excellent strike rate of over 221, and his innings included five fours and six sixes! KKR could manage only 112 runs in response, and RCB had an easy 82-run win.

5. 70* (41) v/s Mumbai Indians

In a thrilling encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the 2019 IPL, MI gave RCB a target of 188 to chase. With AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli on the crease, the target seemed attainable, but in the 14th over, Kohli lost his wicket and the required run-rate shot to 12. ABD blasted a 70* from 41 balls, including four fours and six sixes. Although RCB lost the match, ABD won the hearts. Again!

4. 105* (54) v/s Chennai Super Kings

The 2009 edition of IPL took place in ABD's home country – South Africa, and in the 9th match, Delhi Daredevils were up against Chennai Super Kings. DD suffered an early wicket loss, and De Villiers walked in to bat after the first ball of the match. His rotated strike for his first 50 runs but soon changed his gears as he went from 79 runs to 100 in five balls! His knock helped DD set a target of 190, and they eventually won the match by nine runs.

3. 90* (39) v/s Delhi Daredevils

In the IPL 2018, in a clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils, AB De Villiers showed his class again! Delhi batted first and set a target of 176 runs, which RCB responded with a slow start. ABD walked in at number 4 and hammered an unbeaten 90-run knock in 39 balls with a strike rate of 230! His outstanding knock helped RCB win the match by six wickets with two overs remaining.

2. 133* (59) v/s Mumbai Indians

In the 2015 edition of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians clashed in an epic encounter. RCB won the toss and chose to bat first. Following Chris Gayle's early wicket, Kohli and De Villiers wreaked havoc in the Wankhede Stadium, putting on a 229-run partnership! ABD scored an unbeaten 133 off 59 balls, his best T20 score, with eleven fours and four sixes! RCB won the match by 39 runs due to the memorable partnership.
