Pakistan Super League (PSL) was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board in 2016. The PSL matches were first held in Dubai and then shifted to Pakistan in 2020. The PSL has gained immense popularity in recent years and is the second most-viewed T20 league after the Indian Premier League (IPL). There are six teams that are part of PSL. However, it originally began with five. There has been a magnificent performance of players in the league and records made.  Let us have a look at the top 10 records made by batters in PSL where they scored the most number of the fifties.

1. Babar Azam

Mohammad Babar Azam is the player who has scored the most runs in PSL. Known for his level-headed attitude, Babur is one of the most successful players in Cricket today. He has many international records registered in his name, the most significant being the fastest 2500 runs in T20I. He has played 68 matches in PSL and made 2413 runs. His batting average in these matches was 42.33. He has scored 23 half-centuries till now.

2. Fakhar Zaman

Playing for Lahore Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman has made 1939 runs with 16 fifties in PSL. His first PSL match was in 2017, and to date, he has played 63 PSL games. His PSL batting record comprises 190 fours and 73 sixes. His batting average in PSL is 31.27.

3. Kamran Akmal

The second player on our Top 10 Players with Most Runs in PSL is Kamran Akmal. He is a right-hand batter who made his PSL debut in 2016 and has the record for most stumpings in an innings in T20I. He has made 1972 runs in 75 PSL matches, and his highest score in a PSL match is 107* and also has 12 fifties. Kamran has hit 213 fours in his PSL till now.

4. Mohammad Rizwan

The fourth player on our list with the most runs in PSL is Mohammad Rizwan. He has played for three PSL teams- Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Multan Sultans. He has made 1446 runs in 59 matches. His batting average in PSL is quite decent (40.16). His role in the Pakistan Cricket Team is of a wicketkeeper batter. He has scored 12 fifty-plus scores.

5. Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik is an all-rounder in the Pakistan Cricket Team who began his career in Cricket as an off-break bowler. He stands at the tenth position in the list of players with the most runs in their T20I career. Shoaib has made 1882 runs in PSL and stands at fifth position on our top 10 fifties list with 12 fifties. He has played 72 PSL matches till now.

6. L Ronchi

Luke Ronchi is a right-handed batsman who plays with Islamabad United since 2018. He has played 31 games till now and has scored 1020 runs with an average of 36.42. He played his last game in 2020. His highest score is 94 runs and has scored 10 fifties till now.

7. A Shehzad

Ahmed Shehzad is a Pakistani opening batsman and has played on two different teams Multan Sultan and Quetta Gladiators. He made his debut in 2016 and has played a total of 45 games and has scored 1077 runs in 43 innings with an average of 26.26 with nine half-centuries in his PSL career.

8. SR Watson

Shane Robert Watson is an Australian player who plays for the Australia National Cricket Team. Shane is the third last player with the most runs in PSL. He has made 1361 runs in 46 matches with nine fifties and has played for two PSL teams. They are Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.

9. Mohammad Hafeez

Mohammad Hafeez has played for two PSL teams, namely, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. He is an all-rounder who plays in the Pakistan Cricket Team. Beginning in 2016, he has played 71 PSL matches and has made 1596 runs in the same. It is the fifth-highest run in PSL by any player. He has smashed 146 fours in his PSL career and has nine half-centuries.

10. RR Rossouw

Rilee Roscoe Rossouw plays for the South African Cricket Team and is a top-order batter in the cricket team. He holds the record for second-most catches in an innings in ODI. Rossouw playing for Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators has made 1414 runs in 63 matches with eight half centuries. He has hit 130 fours and 55 sixes in PSL to date.
