A one-day international is a form of limited-overs cricket, played between two teams with global status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs which is 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The cricket world cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format.  In one-day cricket scoring a fifty is not that easy, but certain players scored many fifties in their international careers. Let’s see who they are

1. Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar, the master blaster, is an Indian former international cricketer. He is the God of Cricketand one of the best batters in cricket history. He scored 100 centuries in his career. In one-day cricket, he has the record for most international fifty. He scored 96 half-centuries in his one-day career.

2. Kumar Sangakkara

Kumar Sangakkara is a legendary Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team. He is also a commentator and the former president of the Marylebone cricket club. He is one of the best batters in the game’s history. He played more than 400 one-day games and scored 93 international half-centuries.

3. Jacques Kallis

Jacques Henry Kallis is a talented all-rounder from South Africa. He is one of the best all-rounders in the history of cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium swing bowler. He is well known for his all-around abilities. He scored 86 half-centuries in his career.

4. Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid, also known as “THE WALL”, is the current cricket coach of the Indian national cricket team and former team captain. He has already coached India U19 and India A teams. He played more than 300 games in ODI and has 83 ODI half-centuries.

5. Inza Am-Ul-Haq

Inzamam-ul-Haq, also known as Inzi, is a Pakistani professional cricket coach and former Pakistani cricketer. He was the leading run-scorer for Pakistan in one-day cricket and is considered the greatest Pakistani cricketer in history. He played 378 one-day matches for Pakistan and scored 83 half-centuries.

6. Ricky Ponting

Ricky Thomas Ponting is an Australian cricket coach, commentator, and former cricketer. He was the cricket captain of the Australian cricket team in their golden period. He played 375 one-day games and scored 82 international half-centuries in his career.

7. Mahela Jayawardene

Mahela Jayawardene is the current consultant coach of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. He is also the head coach of the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians. MJ is the most successful captain for Sri Lanka and captained Sri Lanka in all formats of the game. He scored 77 half-centuries in one-day cricket.

8. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the best captains in cricket history. He is a former international cricketer who captained the Indian national team in limited-overs format from 2007 to 2017. Dhoni was one of the best captains in the history of the Indian cricket team. Under his captaincy team, India won the world cup in 2011. He scored 73 half-centuries in one-day cricket.

9. Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly, also known as Dada, is an Indian former international cricketer and current president of the Board of control for cricket in India. He played more than 300 one-day games for India and scored 72 half centuries.

10. Sanath Jayasuriya

Sanath Jayasuriya is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and a captain. He is credited for having revolutionized one day international cricket with his explosive batting in the mid-1990s. He is one of the best captains in the history of Sri Lankan cricket. He played more than 400 matches in one-day and scored 68 half-centuries.
