The Women’s Big Bash League, commonly known as the  WBBL, is the domestic T20 cricket played in Australia. There are currently eight teams - Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers, and Sydney Thunder.  The teams consist of Australian players along with up to three overseas players. So, here are the ‘Top 10 Players with the Most Runs in WBBL.’

1. Beth Mooney

Bethany Louise Mooney is a wicketkeeper batter who plays cricket professionally and represents Australia in all three game formats. She has played for both - Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat in the WBBL. In November 2020, Beth Mooney became the first player to score 3000 runs in the Women's Big Bash League. She is also the highest run-getter with 4108 runs.

2. Ellyse Perry

Ellyse Alexandra Perry is the youngest Australian to play international cricket, at the age of 16.  She is an all-rounder and plays for Sydney Sixers in the WBBL. Sydney Sixers have also won two WBBL trophies under her captainship. Currently, in 111 matches, she holds the record of making 3769 runs in WBBL.

3. Sophie Devine

Sophie Frances Monique Devine leads the New Zealand women’s team. She is an all-rounder and holds the record for the fastest half-century in WT20 and the fastest century in Super Smash. In the WBBL, Devine has played for Adelaide Strikers and Perth Scorchers. She has made a total of 3258 runs in the WBBL.

4. Elyse Villani

Elyse Jayne Villani is also an Australian batter. In the WBBL, she has played for Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and  Melbourne Stars. In 2018, Elyse was the captain of Perth Scorchers. She has made 3079 runs in 114 matches, with her highest score being 100* in the WBBL.

5. Alyssa Healy

Alyssa Jean Healy also hails from Australia. She is a wicket-keeper batter and holds the record for the most runs, 148* in 61 balls, in WT20. She plays for Sydney Sixers in the WBBL and has made 2976 runs in 115 matches. Her highest score is 112 runs in WBBL.

6. Meg Lanning

Meghann Moira Lanning also hails from Australia and is not only the captain of the national team but has also led Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers under her captainship. She also holds the record for the most centuries in the ODIs. In the WBBL, she has made 2725 runs in just 78 matches.

7. Mignon du Preez

Mignon du Preez ia a former South African captain. She is a right-handed batter, along with being an occasional wicketkeeper. In the WBBL, Mignon has played for the teams - Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars and has made a total of 2292 runs.

8. Ashleigh Gardner

Ashleigh Katherine Gardner is from Australia and is an all-rounder, a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-spinner. She was also honoured with the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Player of the Final in 2018. She plays for Sydney Sixers and has achieved to make 2215 runs in 111 matches, with her top score being 114 runs in the WBBL.

9. Rachael Haynes

Rachael Louise Haynes is a former international cricketer who is the vice-captain and represents the Australian nation. She is a left-handed batter and plays for the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL. She has led this team from 2019-2022 and is the highest scorer of Sydney Thunder with 2142 runs.

10. Georgia Redmayne

Georgia Prue Redmayne is also an Australian player. She is a left-handed batter and a wicketkeeper as well. Redmayne plays for Brisbane Heat, whereas earlier, she has been a part of Hobart Hurricanes and Perth Scorchers in the WBBL. In total, she holds the record of making 2082 runs in 97 matches.
