The Indian Premier League is the most commemorated T20 league in India. It takes place yearly during the summer. The entire nation watches it with utmost fun and excitement. Many young cricketers get their breakthrough IPL. It is the best platform where they showcase their talent and make efforts to make it to the national team. One witnessed top cricketers from different countries playing together, teaching the value of brotherhood. Many players have played in other teams, depending on their needs. Let's see some cricketers who have played the IPL final in two teams.

1. Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma- the Hitman, is the captain of the international cricket team of India in all formats. The Arjuna Awardee is one of the most successful batters in cricket history. Many admire him as the captain of Mumbai Indians in IPL, leading the team to win five IPL trophies scoring more than 300 runs every season. His consistent performances and leadership qualities made Mumbai Indians one of the most famous IPL teams. But only some might know that Rohit Sharma has also been part of the winning team of IPL 2009, Deccan Chargers. The 22-year-old young player contributed considerably to the team scoring 411 runs across 18 matches. He also took a hat trick against his future team Mumbai Indians.

2. Yusuf Pathan

Pathan is a former cricketer from India. He played 79 international matches and was a part of the winning squad of the 2007 T20 and 2011 Cricket World Cups. He played for Rajasthan Royals in 2008, scoring 435 runs and taking eight wickets, and recorded the fastest fifty of the season(in 21 balls). Rajasthan went on to win the first IPL trophy. Later he played for Kolkata Night Riders for seven years. In 2014 he scored a fifty in just fifteen balls, making it the second-fastest fifty in IPL history. KKR won the IPL title the same year. He scored 268 runs in 15 matches and hit the most sixes(20) in the tournament.

3. Parthiv Patel

Parthiv Patel is a former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman. He played just 65 international matches. Though he was kept as a second choice as a wicket-keeper, he could never make it to the playing XI due to the consistent performances of MS Dhoni. He played in six different teams throughout his IPL journey. He was a part of the 2010 title-winning team CSK and won two finals as a part of Mumbai Indians. Patel's scores in 2010 were not valuable, but he played a crucial role in 2015 and 2017, scoring 339 and 395 runs for Mumbai Indians.

4. Pragyan Ojha

Ojha is a former Indian cricketer who played 48 international matches between 2008-13. His international career was short, with many ups and downs, but he took over 100 test wickets. He played and won the IPL final with Deccan Chargers in 2009 and Mumbai Indians in 2013, taking 13 and 16 wickets, respectively.

5. Munaf Patel

Munaf Patel is a former fast bowler of India who played in all the formats from 2006-11. He played in the 2007 World Cup. He took 86 wickets in 70 ODIs, and the career-best was 4/29. He was part of two IPL-winning squads, Rajasthan Royal in 2008 and Mumbai Indians in 2013. As a part of RR, he took 14 wickets in 15 matches but could play only four matches in 2013 for Mumbai Indians, taking only three wickets.

6. Lakshmipaty Balaji

Lakshmipaty Balaji is a former Indian cricketer. His international career was concise, where he played just 38 matches as a right-arm fast bowler. He played for CSK in his first three seasons, being part of the winning squad in 2010. Later he played for KKR. He played eight matches and took 11 wickets in 2012 when KKR won the IPL title.

7. Scott Styris

Scott is a former all-rounder from New Zealand. He played all formats, taking over 100 wickets in ODI and scoring 4483 runs. He was a part of the team that won the 2000 ICC Knockout trophy. His IPL career could have been more concise and impactful. Even then, he is the first player to be a part of two different IPL franchises that won titles. He won the IPL titles with Deccan Chargers and Chennai Super Kings in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He played only two matches for DC as well as for CSK.

8. Dwayne Smith

Smith is a former cricketer of the West Indies. He represented West Indies in all three formats as an all-rounder. He was an aggressive batter registering the highest strike rate of 414.28 in a T20 inning. He played for three IPL teams- DC, CSK, and MI and won the title with DC and MI in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He played eight matches for DC, scoring 215 runs at a strike rate of 162, the highest in the team. In 2013, Smith gave an impressive performance, scoring 418 runs with four fifties.

9. R Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar is a former Indian fast bowler. He played 41 international matches but was a part of the Indian team that won the ICC Champions trophy in 2013. His performance was quite impressive in domestic cricket. He led Karnataka to two Ranji Trophy titles consecutively as a captain. He played and won the IPL title for KKR in 2014, taking seven wickets in 9 matches. He later won two titles with MI in 2015 and 2017.

10. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is a former Indian cricketer. He is a left-hand middle-order batsman and slow left-arm bowler. He played 402 international matches across all formats, scoring over 10,000 runs and taking 150 wickets. He is well known for hitting six sixes in an over in the 2007 World Twenty20. He played in six IPL teams. He was part of the 2016 winning team SRH scoring 236 runs in 10 matches, the team's third-highest scorer. In 2019 he played for MI which won the title that year, where he got to play only four matches.
